MEET THE SPEAKERS

H.B. Charles

H.B. Charles is the Pastor at the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church of Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida, where he has served since the fall of 2008. Prior to joining the Shiloh Church, H.B. led the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles for almost eighteen years. Succeeding his father, he began his pastorate at Mt. Sinai at the age of seventeen – a senior in high school.

H.B. has also written six books and hosts of The On Preaching Podcast – a podcast dedicated to helping you preach faithfully, clearly, and better.

Philip Smith

Philip has been serving in Egypt for over 50 years. He spent over 30 years in Sudan and now spearheads the Egyptian missionary movement. Considered by many as the father of the modern Egyptian missionary movement, Philip has a heart to mobilize missionaries both Egyptian and African to reach their own. 

Henry Clay

After coming to Christ in high school Henry Clay went on to study engineering at Georgia Tech and while there he was discipled by the Navigators. After college he served two years with them in Germany, and in 1981 married his wife Wendy. They have served in the Navigator ministry in the United States, Costa Rica, and Argentina. He currently serves Streams in a variety of ways from teaching at the Tyrannus Missionary Schools to serving on the Streams U.S. Board. Additionally he is an author and is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Smart Leadership.

David Gentino

David Gentino is the church planting pastor of Columbia Presbyterian Church PCA in South Carolina. He has his MDiv from Columbia Biblical Seminary. David and his wife, Julie, have four children and have served in several church plants in the United States and in South Asia. They are active in training church planters in the Middle East.
